Register Membership

Available Membership Types

All the membership dues are valid from January to December of the current calendar year. Any new member joining our Society, must choose between the following three categories:

Full Member

Individuals who possess a University degree in Geoscience.

Membership Fee = RM40
Entrance Fee= RM20

Membership will expire on the 31st of December of the current year and should be renewed before that date.

Associate Member

Individuals who are interested in geology but who do not have a University degree in Geoscience.

Membership Fee = RM40
Entrance Fee= RM20

Please attach a photocopy of your first degree . Membership will expire on the 31st of December of the current year and should be renewed before that date.

Student Member

Individuals interested in geology who are currently enrolled in any primary/secondary schools, college or university for undergraduate/graduate programs.

Membership Fee = RM10
Entrance Fee = Free of Charge

Please attach your student matriculation card . Membership will expire on the 31st of December of the current year and should be renewed before that date

After 1 year

After 1 year the first two categories (Full and Associate members) can select between the following two options:​

1. Continue as a Full/Associate Member or

2. Become a Life Member by paying RM400 (one-time payment).

Note: A Student Member can only remain a Student Member for five (5) years only. He/she has to become a Full Member by paying RM40 on the sixth year.
