This atlas presents for the first time detailed descriptions with full nomenclatural details of 186 pollen, spore and algal form-taxa that are important in the evaluation of the palynostratigraphy and environment interpretation in the Oligocene to Pliocene succession of the Malay Basin. The Atlas will also be useful in the neighbouring areas of Sarawak and Sabah, and in Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar, where the Cenozoic sediments yield a similar pollen flora.
