GEOPHYSICS WORKING GROUP
Aims
The Geophysics Working Group aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in Malaysian geophysics by fostering technical capacity, collaborative engagement, and real-world problem solving. Through expert-led knowledge-sharing activities and hands-on field or pilot projects, the group seeks to strengthen the integration of academic research, government needs, and industry practices, ultimately advancing the effective application of geophysics in Malaysia’s development and hazard-mitigation initiatives.
