Register Membership

Available Membership Types

All the membership dues are valid from January to December of the
current calendar year. Any new member joining our Society, must
choose between the following three categories:

Student Member

For all students in the universities and international schools

Membership Fee = RM10
Entrance Fee = Free of Charge

Please attach your student matriculation card . Membership will expire on the 31st of December of the current year and should be renewed before that date

Associate Member

For people interested in the activities of the Geological Society of Malaysia but who do not have a University degree in the Geosciences

Membership Fee = RM40
Entrance Fee= RM20

Please attach a photocopy of your first degree . Membership will expire on the 31st of December of the current year and should be renewed before that date.

Full Member

For persons with a University degree in the Geoscience

Membership Fee = RM40
Entrance Fee= RM20

Membership will expire on the 31st of December of the current year and should be renewed before that date.

Registration Fees (2023)

Student Member (for all students in the universities and international schools) :

  • Membership fee = RM10 per calendar year
  • Entrance fee = Free of charge

Associate Member (for people interested in the activities of the Geological Society of Malaysia but who do not have a University degree in the Geosciences):

  • Membership fee = RM40 per calendar year
  • Entrance fee = RM20

Full Member (for persons with a University degree in the Geosciences):

  • Membership fee = RM40
  • Entrance fee = RM20
  • RM20 for the entrance fee and RM40 for the subscription due for the calendar year.

  • Membership will expire on the 31st of December of the current year and should be renewed before that date.

Life Member (only after one year of new registration Full/Associate members can avail):
  • Membership Fees: RM400

**Note: An additional RM1 will be charged to cover the fee charged by the payment gateway.
– For payment by cash, Senangpay will deduct RM1 as commission.
– For payment by credit card, the commission  is 2.5% of the amount.
