The Geophysics Working Group aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in Malaysian geophysics by fostering technical capacity, collaborative engagement, and real-world problem solving. It brings together academic institutions, industry partners, and government bodies to address key challenges in geophysical exploration, environmental assessments, and marine geoscience. Through regular knowledge-sharing activities, joint research initiatives, and targeted training programmes, the group seeks to elevate the standard of geophysical practice in Malaysia while nurturing the next generation of geoscientists.
