To advance the understanding of Quaternary and marine geological processes through interdisciplinary research, knowledge exchange, and capacity building. The group seeks to promote scientific discussions, field-based investigations, and collaborative research initiatives that contribute to improved reconstructions of past environments, sea-level change, sedimentary processes, and climate–ocean interactions, with particular relevance to Malaysia and the surrounding regions.
